Thread: D2a Radio code

Just had the auto done on my D2a. It has a radio that looks like the 6500 CD-Europe in it. Well thats what it looks like at from this site - Radio Decoding - Instantly decode Land Rover

Just trying to work out how to input the security code. Most threads I have found says it is a 4-6 number code. So I found a 4 digit code in my stack of papers.
Then they say to use the presets to type it in. That would work fine. But my code has a 9 in it.

So can anyone tell me how to type in a code that has a number bigger than 6?

Was going to delete. But cant see a delete thread button. I did want I shoulda done to start off with. I read the book. And my radio just requires the preset button '1' pressed multipul times till I get the number I want (press '1' 5 times to get code number 5). Then press preset button '2' till I get what I want. etc etc.

Really shoulda looked at the book first.
