Didn't show a number for "Comms Error ".

Think now it might be 114 "shuttle valve electric failure" ..its showing me as a logged fault. Strange because I thought option B fixed that a few years back.

    Are you using a Hawkeye?

On the Nanocom a communication error usually refer to a problem connecting the Nanocom to the ECU rather than a logged fault.

I reckon that indicates that the amigo failed to talk to the bus. Try it again and make sure it is fully inserted and you have a charged battery.

If it still fails it seems likely that the Amigo OR your bus has an issue OR the ABS controller has fubared. I hope it is your amigo, since that would probably be cheaper and less hassle.

Check that all the pins on both connectors seem OK is the only other thing I can think of.

    check ecu connector for oil

Ecu connector may be oiling up, disrupting the CAN signal to the SLABS.

The Option B docs mention the potential problem of the earth bolt coming loose, and make a couple of recommendations in this regard:

The Three Amigos returned in April 2010 as a result of this bolt coming loose. I may not have tightened it well when I did it the first time back in November 2009 so torque it good, and add loctite. I plan to check the bolt every oil change. In addition to using that bolt as a ground, ensure that it is free of dirt or rust or anything that would diminish a good electrical contact.
