Thanks for the helpful information and suggestions. I really appreciate it.
When in "Superlock Mode" the inside door handles are disabled, to foil thieves smashing a window and opening a door, When the vehicle is locked with a key it does not enable superlocking,( recommended for leaving pets, people( not children!) momentarily in vehicle( door handles NOT disabled inside.
Cheers Scott

I FINALLY GOT IN !!!
Last night I tried levering rear door window frame , using heavy duty wire I was able to reach the internal door switch at dash with no results. (this was no easy task)
Today I decided to access bonnet latch lock.
Removed lower bumper metal mesh grille and lower plastic trim.
Using dremel I cut into bonnet release catch shroud to give access to slide locking lever , using a long lever pushed and heard "click" bonnet opened. Using secondary bonnet catch opened and alarm went off (horn).
Using key fob I disarmed alarm. central locking doors released as well.
Did notice on dash anti-theft alarm indicator flashing rapidly.
Inserted key and turned to position II . All seemed okay and started vehicle. Everything seems okay . I have not locked vehicle as I am happy to keep it open for now.
Break and enter is not so extreme after all...
Congrats on gettin in.
Now you need to pull the door trim and check why the combo code didn't work, and more, WTF it wouldn't offer access in the first place. It does give an impression of a failed BCU based on the posts by others...
Can you now lock and unock with the key?...make sure the bonnet is open...you can hold down the bonnet switch just in case...if that works, you may be able to save the cost and worry of a BCU failure????
Thanks wopac5,
Getting in took me a very long time . Access made harder factory brush bar , spotties.
Will pull door trim and check lock / unlock with keys.
SuperLocked can only be opened with key fob remote from what I have read and experienced.
I am going to fit a secondary wire / cable to bonnet release lock mechanism to be accessed from front of grille for back up !
Read this post about superlocking : The security system (Superlocking) is built to protect the bags of gold that all Land rover owners are expected to transport to the dealerships on a regular basis !!!
Glad to hear all is well
Out of curiosity... Whats your battery voltage at the moment?
I've seen this happen when the main battery gets really low.
We got around it by "jumping" the vehicle from the starter motor..
Congrats for getting in! Hope you can sort it now![]()
@ Tombie
Hi voltage at battery is 12.61 volts now.
Thanks good tip " jumping" the vehicle from the starter motor.
