Photos of the undertray which I have been told doesn't exist.
The sound deadening on my engine undertray is in bits.
Does anyone know if these can be bought seperate from the whole undertray?
I definitely want to replace the undertray but the way it is at the moment with the foam exposed, it is a potential fire risk. Possibly the only think that is keeping it from igniting is the coolant it is soaked with at the moment,
If I cannot get one I may just replace the undertray without the sound deadening.

I seen one before - in my HANES Owners Workshop Manual i think. Maybe LR decided to do away with the cumbersome underskirtsfor the colonial models
but maybe one got thru

Mine is one of the early D2's, so you are possibly correct, maybe they changed from 2000 on. Although my mechanic's wife has the exact same vehicle, same year and color and it has the shorter undertay.
I see the UK models also have the full cover. My vehicle has the Australian compliance plate so I wouldn't think it'a private import.
I wonder if they changed to the shorter undertray because of the climate.
I've never seen one on mine, nor any sign of there being one. I wonder if they're left off here due to heat issues?
I thought they were mythical. Nice to see a pic of one.
The part is marked as "Removed From Service" in Microcat. Brit-car.co.uk have them listed at £208 ex-vat, but it's unlikely you'd be able to order.
I have no trace of one on my 2002. I am interested to know what difference does the driver or a pedestrian hear when the cover is in place? I am guessing very little?
