I have posted re my EFS shocks a few times with 2 inch raised coils had 3 bushes come away on the bottom eye of the shock and EFS would not replace under warranties the last time however the Suspension supplier here in Perth replaced for me with a new product all around! I would not touch EFS again!
This is what the owner of WCS sent me...
The shocks we fitted to the front of yours are EFS units. EFS will not provide us with drawings and are extremely "un-helpfull" with trying to resolve any product or warranty issues. Therefore we are moving away from selling their product. However that doesn't help with your vehicle and we need to get it sorted out.

I have attached a prototype drawing of the same shock part number which we have under development with a shockabsober manufacturer. As you can see, the lower mount (which is the one I am assuming you are having the problem with) is a "bonded bush" with a "T bar" or "Foot" fitted. Bonded means that the actual rubber is bonded (or welded) to the metal eye ring. Is this the one that's come loose again?

These new shocks were replaced into my car all around at no cost and I have not had a problem since!!!

I've got EFS shocks and 2" lifted springs on my 2 door rangie.

Had them for several years with no problems. As mentioned, they are firm-ish.

They were selected over other brands, as they were locally manufactured with the promise of good customer service. Haven't had to put it to the test.........yet.

I think I may have just jinxed myself.

Angry EFS shock absorbers - no good if you actually go 4wdriving!

Just returned from a fabulous weekend in the Vic High Country. On the trek up the Mt Terrible track from the Jamieson end we broke another EFS front shock. This is the second one that has pushed the bottom bushes out. No chance that I will use these again - the front shocks are a pain to change, and since my own workshop is 800km away I will have to pay someone to do it. Not happy at all and EFS will be hearing about it tomorrow. Any suggestions for a better shock will be appreciated.

Where did you end up sourcing them from bud? I am in the same boat at the moment, lots of options out there for the 50mm lift.

Hi JVK, pity about the hut up top of Mt Terrible eh?
Take it you took Newmans tk to the bottom & then back home from there?
Im sure it would have been the better way with that busted shock.
    Cheers Dean.

i got them from AutoRide Suspenions in balcatta.

he is an old guy who has ran the shop for many years and it still looks brand new, as i fitted them myself he still took the time to get under the car and point a few things out and what to look for when fitting, very helpful

I have had efs suspension for 6 yrs and at times it has been punished. I cannot say a bad thing about them. I do the strezleckie/Oodnadatta/Birdsville tracks twice a year and have had no failures anywhere.....bushes are still good. When you ask a question on this forum as you did, everyone gives their point of view and don't really answer your question.....yes EFS suspension appears to be particularly good.
