    Dash warning light fault

Hi there just drove out of my drive today then the red park warning light, the yellow abc and the yellow decent control light has came on where do I start with this fault I have checked the brakes, the vehicle has had central diff lock fitted and I think it has disconnected in side the centre diff as the cable actuates but seems to move a lot freer than it did and I know when I engage the centre diff lock it brings on the traction control light can I please get an idea where to head with this fault
    Thanks

Is the park brake light red or yellow.

Are the lights still on or do they reset when you stop and restart your car.

    Regards

Can you confirm the colour of the brake warning light.

Is it yellow/orange or is it red?

It will make a difference to the response I give you next.

    Regards

the most common fault that includes the red park brake lamp in addition to hdc, tc and abs is an actual wheel sensor fault.

it is possible the ip has a failed globe/ led, and this is why you are missing seeing the third 'friend' ....

i have a customer with only 2 amigos after the hdc lamp failed, he was wondering why the dash was beeping at him, until we discovered one of his kids had pressed the button, and no hdc lamp was showing....

To cut to the chase you need to have the car read for faults. This should then provide you with a relatively accurate place to start repairing.

A faulty wheel sensor is one of the possible outcomes. Could be a poor earth. Could be more than one fault. Really anyone's guess.

Go to the Good Oil and read the section relating to the three amigos. Third link down in the Good Oil section.

The information in this area may shed some more light but like I said you need the faults read to understand the problem.

    Regards
    Andrew
