Remote lights on but nobody home

OK I have done some RAVE and Google study of why the remote on my not yet picked up D2 lights up but does not unlock the doors.

It seems that the immobiliser codes are correct in the key as the door opens with the key no problem and the car starts.

Mundy suggested in his post on my other thread.
If you have 2 keys and neither fob works despite red light illuminating, it
may be the aerial/sensor which is in the middle of the rear cargo bay above the roof lining. This happened to me but I was lucky enough to be able to have it fixed under warranty.
Any other ideas? Thanks Mundy for that .
It would be a bugger to test as the output may be RF or again it could be 12volt. Anyone know how to test? I would think that a pulse would be sent to the BCU which one may pick up with a multimeter on the PS wire on pinc0661-5 or the BN wire at c0661-6 on teh BCU plug. One is probably power in and the other pulse out.
Anyone have a part number for such an obscure part or anyone have one lying around?
    Regards Philip A

Get someone with a nanocom if you dont have one yourself, check if the key is being received in the RF test.

It is possible that the security has been disabled and the key will start the car without being synced to the BCU.

Yes I will order a Nanocom after I get the car on Monday.
Its a bit much to risk to order it beforehand.
