MAF replaced - idle still rough

I have had a stuffed MAF for a while, and I finally got it replaced this week.

Generally, the improvement is fantastic, smoother, more power, no black smoke. However, occasionally I still get rough idle, usually at traffic lights. I have read that blanking the EGR (which I have done) can lead to a rough idle, although I never noticed it before the saga of the MAF.

Recent work includes new injector harness, new fuel filter, new air filter, oil change with new cartridge & centrifugal filters, new MAF

When I bought the MAF TR Spares suggested I turn the ECU upside down to drain out any oil that may have got in it from the harness. No oil there.

Anything else I should be looking at?
    Cheers,
    Alex

Really not sure but try this.

    1. Remove the battery terminal (+)
    2. Put your foot on the brake pedal and leave your foot on the pedal for 10 seconds.

It removes all the residual charge and will also clear faults.

You will lose the radio, so have your code ready.

Place the battery terminal back on and get driving.

    Regards
    Andrew

Something from left field, engine mount on the way out? Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
