Door key wont unlock

The black clip should unclip from the rod, if not, you can unclip the top of the rod and unscrew it.

Any idea what could cause that black clip to slide along the rod - I can imagine it's possible if there was an amount of force applied to the mechanism AND the rod was immovable/stuck but I don't think that was what happened in my scenario.

Which nanocom are you using that displays the digits as letters?

I only ask as my evo shows the numbers, I also changed mine from having 3 of the numbers double digits to something far more wrist friendly.
