Yellow = SRS system as explained above. If all of the components don't work together then there is a real risk that the driver/passenger could be injured/killed by the airbag. So that pretensioner needs to work to keep you safe.
My SRS light is on at the moment from unclipping the plug we're referring to here.
The Nanocom gave me a "pretensioner fault" for this but I can't recall what it is right now. I'll edit this for reference when I get back into the vehicle in a day or two.
Incidentally I use Posilock connectors a bit on my bike and when the Pretensioner wires were cut on the drivers' side I used one of these to join them. It would be very simple to unscrew each end of the connector if the seat ever had to come out again.
