I have an occasional metallic clicking coming from what appears to be the front output housing in the transfer case
It happens when the suspension is extended and when changing between forward and reverse under load
I have checked the front drive shaft and all appears fine
I have been able to recreate the tick by moving the d/s when stationary, it will only do it occasionally and only once until driven again
There is a small amount of play in the front flange, but it doesn't seem excessive
The t/c will be coming out soon th fix a leak on the auto output shaft, so will get this looked at while it is being done, but would be good to give a few pointers to aid the diagnosis
