If you can remove the headlining you can diy it easy...
Remove old glue with acetone you need over a litre, nothing else works!
I used Permatex Body Shop Heavy Duty Headliner & Carpet Adhesive, body, interior & trim, specialized maintenance & repair, Automotive, Permatex Australia glue you need 2 cans (I found out)

Start glueing and laying from the centre working outwards
If you have rear aircon don't remove the ceiling registers best removed/fitted when headlining is out of car.

Being that its the length of the inside of the disco ????

My alternative transport is a motorbike or the wifes 2 door cabriolet, both of which would be highly amusing but not practical or safe.

Easy done, when I did mine I just raised the shell back up and clipped the roof tang ends at the rear, and found there were things on the sides and front to hold it.
I drove to the trimmer like that and and picked it up again like that and fitted it properly at home. Once you pull it down you'll find spots to hold it up.

easiest way is to take everything out that is screwed into the roof and the door seals.
if you have a sun roof it also has some of the roof trim glued to the sunroof surround you need to remove this carefully.
leave 1 bolt in each of the grab handles
remove sun visors
remove upper roof console and centre DVD player if you have one
the replace 1 screw either side in sun visor position with a large piece if plastic ice cream container over screw to hold it up
with 7 seaters you can just leave the rear headrests in place folded up
you will need to take the upper "A" & "B" door pillar trims off also as well as the rear upper panels at the back that cover the top side windows.
roof lights and air conditioner duct outlets if you have them also need to come out.
once you get to the trimmers you will have to lay the seats all down flat so as to get the shell out without bending it,
undo all of your leftover bolts and screws.
drop one side down first and pull it out of the rear door,one side up one side down(get a helper)be careful not to damage any of the corners as they tend to stand out when the job is finished.

I'm lucky that I dont have a sunroof or rear aircon so makes the operation a little simpler.

Finally got my self organised and down to AA Motor Trimming in Granville for the headlining renew, job done in less than six hours.
I spent the time with the liner out tidying up my spagetti like wiring add ons over the years up in the overhead console area, cable tying neatly and installing a compass mirror I picked up on Ebay.
Finished roof liner looks really good, didnt quiet have time to reinstall all the roof trimmings before it got too dark here in rainy Sydney to see what I was doing properly, will finish off this weekend.
Happy to recommend them at $150 it saved me a massive job in an area I know nothing about - headliner recovering that is.

I feel I spent yet another RDO constructively bonding with my Disco.

One intersting observation, with the headlining out it aint half noisy driving when it rains :o
