The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
Contitec is the OEM manufacturer for the D2 airbags.
Dunlop also make a replacement bag that seems to be used by many on the forum without issues, but uses a different connector so requires minor modifications. Dunlop made OEM bags for the Range Rover, but not the D2. Many claim the Dunlop bags are OEM on this basis.
I can't recall anyone posting that they had issues with either of these brands.
cheers

Slightly off topic but is there any easy way to tell if you have OEM Or Dunlop bags fitted?
Reason I ask is that I'm considering buying a pair as insurance spares. If I recall correctly, once you have modded the air inlet pipe for dunlops there is no easy to revert so getting OEM will not be the right choice.

Yes, the OEM uses a brass nut to screw the plastic pipe onto the air bag fitting. The Dunlop bag requires this brass nut to be cut off the pipe. The cut pipe is pushed into the airbag fitting which has a standard Push In barbed fitting.
So if you can see a hex nut to undo then you have the original fitting.

I replace my OEMs with Dunlops from P38SPARES. No problems so far but it only has been a couple of months with them installed.
There is a trick with removing the Dunlops. You must push the collet where the pipe goes into the bag in while pulling the pipe out. This releases the barb fitting. The instructions supplied with the bag does not mention this.
Dunlops are also cheaper than Contis
Just don't use a mob in the US who use/ assemble Contitech bags with their hardware.
I have been using Dunlop bags and never had a problem. I love the fact they use a quick fit connector, it makes life so easy.
I bought mine from Paddocks in UK for $120 each delivered and they had them to me in less than a week.
Interesting someone recommended airbag man. I tried to go through them and had nothing but trouble, I think they really need to lift their customer service. Maybe I just got a dud sale guy on the phone but they told me they didn't sell airbags for D2. I told him that I knew people that had bought D2 bags from them so he went away then came back and said , no, they don't sell them.
Anyway, at less than 1/2 cost from UK i am very happy.
I have Dunlops, and haven't had an issue, but that aside, whichever brand you go with, a word of caution from the newly wise...
If your new bags come in a box, be very careful when you pull them out. I ordered a pair of bags, and as i removed them from the box, one of them unrolled.
So, instead of taking about 20mins per side to change, the job took 2 hoursGetting the bag to sit properly, and operate correctly was a PAIN in the derrière, to say the least.
