Ah. Yes I had forgotten about the crossmember. You will need to space that Jake. You can make your own spacer and buy longer bolts or you can get the spacer from les Richmond.

You don't need 50mm bumpstop extensions. It is still debatable whether you need anything but I went with 30mm extensions on the rear just to be safe.

My Terrafirma shocks allow my OME front springs to just come of the seats and the prop to hit the crossmember, hence it's spaced down 15mm, there is always a trade off when modding something.

Also, if fitting spacers under the rear airbags, It's advisable to fit +2" longer bumpstops to stop the bag being potentially damaged when the axle is fully stuffed up into the arch.

Thanks - most things I do to the car involve a look at discovery2.co.uk before I start so was aware of the cross member. My drill seems to have trouble going though thick bits of metal so was considering washer/spacer with longer bolt or a new drill and making some up :)

I've got my Koni shocks and hopefully going to fit them at the weekend. From the instructions you have to push the shocks closed and then engage/rotate them to change the rebound.

Off the top of your head is it clockwise for firmer - the Koni site doesn't seem to say? Thanks!

Yes Jake, clockwise to firm them up. You will really feel it when you pull the shock apart. On the firmest setting you can hardly move it. I put a bar through the lower eye to pull it apart.
