    HTML Code:
but cant get revs up to encourage it
Cheers that sounds a little worse than a couple of plugs or leads,Mine still accelerates with a misfiring plug.leaning towards fuel pressure now.

THere has not been a misfire (but then I dont encourage such as Im not a hard driver and especially when I know shes not happy)
THanks again (but I will double check that hes looked at all that side of it to be safe)\

I have a horrible feeling my office cleanup last week resulted in the demise of my rave CD. Ill get another but meanwhile would anyone be willing to scan or photograph or copy/paste in to a notebook page (not word as Im on crappy laptop that doesnt even have a cd drive anyway due to Toshibas death couple months ago) and email the relevant section to me on how to check fuel pressure or location of the maintenance port that allows you to do that? we can make extra sure before I cough up and buy a pump

I remember on the last D2 I changed the coils on, the scrader valve can be easily felt by running your hand past the rear of the manifold plenum, passenger side of the engine.

not necessary for the pics, I wont be doing it just needed couple of key words to tell mechanic where to begin the search so thank you again for your help
AND I accidently found a link for the RAVE manual so now have it again (will sling the host a paypal donation when I can afford to after this episode!)

Ok choices (once Mechanic confirms fuel pressure or lack thereof I want purchase immediately)

Land Rover Discovery 2 Petrol EFI Fuel Pump WFX101060 Genuine Bosch | eBay about $410 delivered. Already in Aus (even right state), genuine part?

Land Rover Discovery 2 Tank Fuel Pump Level Sender Sensor V8 Petrol 98 04 | eBay about the same delivered, in UK, oem part?

FUEL PUMP + SENDER UNIT V8 DIS2 1A> > Fuel Tank Pump & Mountings (With Petrol Engines) > Fuel-Air Cleaner-Evaporative Loss > Fuel & Emission Systems > Discovery 2 - 1999 to 2004 > Discovery > Main Menu > Home > Britcar (UK) Ltd no idea shipping on that one, or if its just aftermarket or oem or what (far cheaper than other two but as pointed out may not get far), and in UK

I like the ringwood one best so far (and they all beat Bendigo Mazda $745 price!)

is this; Land Rover Discovery 2 Brand NEW Oxygen Sensor MHK100920 | eBay a better flavour of o2 sensor than the one in my quote?

Ok, Britpart has garnered a bit of a reputation for unreliability. Regarding O2 sensors nearly all I have seen are made in china now, even name brand so prob not an issue
Bosch is original manufacturer of the pump and supplier so its good.
    Cheers Scott
