Long time no post!
I just had a whole bunch of spares sent with Contitech airbags from Brookwell spares. My wife and I had our first baby last weekend and so it has taken until now to get dirty working on the Td5 again.
I changed the headlamps to Xenon bulbs and have better low beam light now, however along the way I found a big old mess behind the right hand headlamp. The previous owner had cheap Narva spotlights added using a Hella relay and the sh%£&est wiring job I've ever seen, including 12v live positive straight from the battery uninsulated next to an earth! I did a basic rewire of the positive leads, used heatshrink on each and wrapped it all with Tommy Tape but I'm not happy with it as it is still not waterproof - any suggestions for waterproof spotlight relay wiring welcome!
So here's my question: Does anyone know the function of these spare wire connectors behind the headlight?
The plugs under the bumper each side are fog light connects , the headlight spares are as per SiddersC comment. Each of those require the appropriate switches, relays to be installed and activation via a nanacom if they are not standard.
Cheers Scott
Oh, and congratulations to your wife and you on the arrival of the house disruptor!

@Siddersc, thank you again! Yes that would make sense. I can see the levelling motors anywhere about so if they were ever fitted they aren't now. there are what look like adj screws on the back of the headlight - through the 3 plastic securing plug, so I guess they are fixed. Our Td5 has SLS and I guess the logic is that the vehicle itself adjusts to level (if it isn't level, one should go fix the SLS!).
There are four plugs in total and I'm curious about them all. Did D2s ever have a headlight wipers? Could one of them be for auxiliary spotloghts (making the previous owner's dodgy wiring obselete - that would be ace!
Thank you Scott, the foglight connectors under the fenders sound like a useful option to consider for future lighting mods - when that time comes I'll check other threads and have the Nanocom ready.
And thank you for encouragement re our brand new disruptor - funny thing is she has so far been very relaxed (teat - sleep - teat - sleep) but I'm aware that things might change overnight (literally)!
