Just thought I would give a little heads up regarding pulley bearings. After D M's episode I checked and the idler bearing was dry as a prohibitionists cellar!
There was no roughness of any degree but the pulley had nicks in it so I replaced the whole item for peace of mind. For $45 from LR Direct it was easy to replace.
So if your motor has done around 200ks it probably needs doing. If it fails no end of drama can result.
Cheers Scott
