Thread: Key fob micro switch info

Because I had a tough time tracking down a $1.45 item: the micro switches that need replacing in the key fob are C & K tactile switch round button gullwing, part number KSR 232G LFS currently available in Sydney at RS Components.
And no I didn't want to buy them off eBay and wait ? days, nor did my neighbours.

It doesn't really matter which ones you get as they seem to have a standard spacing betweeen the solder pads.
I bought Ford Focus ones for my plip and they work fine, although I have yet to have them work on the car as it appears the receiver is kaput.
I bought a little RF tester from the US on ebay and both plips registered as working on both buttons.
