Nanocom was reporting the state of the High/low range switch incorrectly for both the transmission and TD5 ECU. The engine ECU error was corrected in Firmware update 1.30.4 beta. The error in the Auto Transmission will be fixed in the next release.
If you want to confirm the operation of the switch, back probe connector 448 at pin 8 red and pink wire with a sewing pin. You will see 12v with high range selected. On selection of low range this pin is pulled to earth and voltage drops to zero. This test cannot be done at the connector of the Auto transmission ECU as the connector does not allow backprobing -the wire needs to be pierced to test the logic.
