How to connect Nanocom Evo, assistance please

I got the new toy for the disco 2 td5, 2003. Got the three amigos after a recent trip to the Flinders Ranges and fair bit of bull dust. Got sick and tired and decided to splash out on the Nanocom to help me quickly reset the damn thing.
Tried Google but I am not getting much luck and I want to make sure I do it rightly.
Can someone please tell me where I connect the Nancom in the car?

    thanks in advance

Look below the steering wheel trim panel next to the centre console there so a d shaped plug there.

Found it no worries, something strange through, whilst I can read some of the information, I get a Function Locked error when I try to get into the SLABS ECU. Any suggestions please?

Off the top of my head it sounds like you need to register/ unlock that function through the black box website.

And always plug the cable into the Nanocom first followed by the OBD port end (under dash plug) or you can get a short. Yep, that's how I know.

Unlock codes were available with purchase at a cost of about $50ea for Disco II, Defender and Puma. Original owner may have applied unlock code for only one of these and maybe a different model Landy to yours.

Contact with ebay seller may enlighten you as to what unlock code was used.
