    ARB Battery Tray NLA

ARB have stopped making their battery tray for Disco II's. I finally had all my accessories planned and ready to install with a dual battery set up in the engine bay space, trotted down to my local ARB in St Peters to purchase the tray, only to be told they no longer make them....

Poo......... any suggestions for the next best tray? I want to run the spare battery in the engine bay and I dont really have the resources to make one, so would buy one ready made

Got one my garage... Just need to move it a bit closer to the engine bay...

I can't decide if I am going to use for the air comp or go for a second battery.

    Cheers

ARB still list the Discovery 2 Aux Battery kit which includes the tray on their website.
I reckon it's odds on that the ARB staffer the OP spoke to just couldn't find the part listing

Yes AFAIR the computer at the West Gosford ARB dealer showed 22 in stock in ARB Melbourne about 3 months ago.

Maybe they have sold them all but unlikely IMHO.

Unfortunately they have been superseded, and the only stock ARB will have are any that stores have on hand, which is unlikely.

Piranha still do one, but it's a smaller battery size & more expensive.

"Superseded" would mean that they have been replaced by a newer alternative. Is this the case, or has ARB simply ceased producing a battery tray for the D2?
