Very true! Ball joints are about $20ea. Thanks for the kind offer however. At this stage I'm leaning towards the RTE ones although I think the others look really good also but the RTE ones I think were the only solid ones and made from stainless which is pretty strong. Mind you, the D2 steering links are pretty good from the factory. It is a lot of dosh for what they are.

BTW, nothing wrong with heavy wall hollow bar from a stiffness perspective, advertising solid bars is a just a marketing thing.
I'd imagine a larger diameter heavy wall tube would be much stronger that the solid rod?Quote:
