I think it is selectable on the BCU settings, your may be set differently to others
Hey Joel, I think it can be set with a nanacom to single push, I am sure single push superlocking is default? Easy test ,sit in vehicle, or find some sucker to, like your helpful wife or childLock with fob then attempt to open door. the inside latch should be disabled, and as soon as you move the alarm should be triggered by the sensors . your dog moving around will do it also :P That is 'Superlocking.
The manual states it should not be used if leaving animals or people in the car, as they will not be able to get out and the alarm triggers on movement. If such a situation is desired lock with the key as per the dinosaur days
Cheers Scott
Cool, Thanks mate.
I'll check it out in the morning as I'm at work until 10p tonight and it might alarm the neighbours a but if my alarm starts going off.
I bought the Disco second hand about 4 months ago and God knows what other stuff has been changed from standard.
I have Nanocom so I'll have a play.
Do you know how sensitive the volumetric alarm is? Windscreens Obrien wont have a window until next week so it just has cardboard in the slot for now. Good thing is I know it's not going to rain here in Darwin at this time of year. I'm wondering if wind might set of the volumetric while I'm missing a window.
Happy Days.
The sensor sits on the passenger side, roughly above the B pillar. If there's a flat plastic plate there it's not fitted, otherwise it'll look like a kind of pyramid shape with two button looking sensors on it. Mine hasn't got one fitted.
Make sure that it's an opticool factory tinted glass, it has a green tinge to it before applying any tint film. My (now modified) policy stated that they could use a replica glass so my first replacement was a generic clear screen (no UV protection or color to it).
Odd things happen that a week after having the policy changed to require genuine parts the screen was broken again.
