Thread: CV Dimensions please

I have to replace a CV boot on my 2002 D2. The only immediately available one in Alice Springs is a "one size fits all" at Repco. Please can anyone give me the diameter of the shaft and the CV housing, so that I can assess if the Repco one will fit, before I pull it to pieces. Thanks

I finally disassembled it. The Repco Universal CV Boot (STCVBK) does fit and only cost $22.00. However, it is a bit light weight. Thanks to a tip from "Battenberg" on another forum, I removed the hub and cv as one. All in all a fairly painless job.
