    Interior light door switch?

On the D2 is the interior light door switch in the door lock mechanism?
I don't see any door switches like on the D1.

I've tried a search but didn't find any conclusive answers.

Tonight I noticed that the interior light doesn't come on when I open the front passenger door. Not a big thing but now that I have noticed it, it will bother me.

    not sure
My interior light wont come OFF, I have to leave it in the totally off position (leaving us all in the dark when we disembark) because it wont do the normal interior light thing by coming on when doors are opened, and turning off when the car is exited and locked

Yes the switches are in the door locks and interact with the BCU .When activated they complete an earth path from the BCU . The lamps receive thier power via fuse 20.
A more complete description is in 4.168 of the RAVE Electrical library. So it could be as simple as an earthing wire or in the door lock or even the fuse!
