Good looking fitting. Makes the landrover one look like a joke. What alterations to the lines, or cooler end fittings, did you have made to get the JIC fitting in sync.

Just get the alloy weld on fittings from Motorsport connections, the correct JIC size will need to be drilled out slightly to fit over the tube, it comes as 12mm from memory and needs to be about 13.5mm. The other end on the steel line, the fittings are available from pirtek/enzed etc. All up with weld ons, fittings and hose plus heat/abrasion sleeve was about $150- but much more reliable result.
I only replaced the cooler ends though, will have to pull and do the other ends as well.

Finally back from the North, so in answer to your question below, fired a pipe cleaning pellet through the lines. No sign of baffles. But did not like the "black" sludge that came out of both !!!!. Should have taken the trans cooler out and cleaned it when changing the lines.

Hey guys, new to the forums, not new to some issues with my truck, now I have had trans oil everywhere and found that its not my hose connections but the actual join of the metal pipe to the tank / little radiator, I'm wondering as that seems like a bit of a weak point there if anyone has heard of a different cooler system. A small radiator that you just use your normal screw on clamps to join a straight through rubber hose onto it, a smaller version of your water cooler, is there reasons why this cant be done ie pressure issue or something, Im not a mechanic so dont have a go, im just looking for a better solution than refitting the same bad connections and cooler and then to only have issues again in the future as others have said here.
If im going to the effort / cost in removing the cooler to replace it i would love to change it now.
any ideas for suppliers if I have to get a genuine tank rather than a re engineered suggestion?
Finding a similar dimensioned cooler would be hard, if you wanted a generic a Setrab brand cooler will have female BSP fitting and you can adapt to JIC or just get BSP make hose ends.
