'Groan' from front wheel at low speed when turning/CV Joint Choice

When I turn left at low speed the driver's side front wheel area groans. Any ideas what this could be please?

    I don't have ACE.

Just been reading a few of the other posts on changing the CV. Sounds like one bolt/nut is difficult to undo, which might be my downfall!

A quick google comes up with DA6063 | CV Joint Kit - Discovery 2 - is that the sort of thing I'd need to find locally?

Are the Britpart replacement CV Joints the only option unless you go big bucks and choose Ashcroft ones?

I've got burnt with Britpart once on a radiator top hose so just wondered what people's thoughts were.

LR Direct gives a choice of brands and pricing. They are handy to do a comparison with others. Superceded Land Rover Part TDR100790

    Cheers Scott

Another choice of supplier but given the price prob is Bpart http://britishparts.co.uk/products/9...over-TDR100790
