D2 roof rack mount bracket

Thx for the pics. I will consider the side mounting system but I don't think with the my design using aluminium hollow pipe will cost that much. Once I'll finish my 3D CAD model, I'll share with all of you.

For those kind of money, it will pay for two or three alum alloy rack plus engineering design. I just can't justified the amount they charge, I prefer to design myself with the rack and size I required. If you interested, just hold on for couple days for me to finish my design. I should be able to get total price for alloy tube/pipe. The idea I like about designing myself is cater all the lights holder and perhaps incorporate specific jerry cans holder too.

Please see this is the CAD model of the Aluminium Rack I wanted to made. I can generate the cutlist of the material and FEA digital prototype before making it.

Thanks guys. I managed to sort out the 11" bracket from a 4x4 shop in WA for $150. Now I just need to complete my final design to suit as the TJM rack are not the design I'm looking for anyway. I need a roof top tent rack with the capability to add a few more gears and jerry cans on top.
