done the full service oil filters, air filter grease fuel filter packed up the trailer picked up friends heading out to do some fossicking barely 3ks oil everywhere smoke the whole nine yards -----no drive----auto trans hose seperated from the swageing had to call mate with tilt truck---then a text to all and sundry "whats white with 4 wheels and goes nowhere--Smithies land rover![]()
same thing happened to me, 30km out had to call tilt truck.....all the hiluxes waving and grinning.....I'm embarrassed to admit how much I have spent on my D2....my wife knows.
I've blown 2 of the auto trans hoses in 2 weeks. It's a sub-standard connection which is well know for being dodgy. I had my 2 week old trans cooler line repaired by Pirtek. Much better connection.
Cheers
