Yep.... me too. After the number of posts on it and my advice to others and the fact this is the 5th TD5 to be in the family, all previously done, blah, blah......as it had just arrived it was to be checked and new sump gasket along with seals done after the move . It had to simply go 500m down the road, that's it....hindsight......nuts ( or bolts) to me!Quote:

Some positive news, I sourced a good crank right here in Alice:)
Some new bearings from Sutton LR this week and back together we go.
Just to finalise the little saga. Malfunctioning Eddie fired up and is running again. A few little niggles to sort and off for rego this week.:)
