Yes it’s the digits after the F’s there is another thread on this if it doesn’t have the yellow bit it won’t work
Thanks to sierraferry for supplies pic.
Normally the 6 characters from interior are like starting from second one in the top code
also the fob will work without the yellow bit just that the immobiliser kicks in after 15 seconds of the unlock command and another unlock commend is needed if it wasnt started within those 15 seconds
Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
Well there ya go, I contacted seller of my 2 keys and they told me it was the numbers after all the F’s on bottom row.
The RF signal worked on both keys just wouldn’t program. I sent them back and they said they were going to check them. I tried different combinations of numbers before I gave up. I sent them to another great bloke on here as well and he tried programming to his vehicle with no luck, and we have both programmed key succesfully before.

My usual supplier had nil stock around a year ago so had to get keys from ebay supplier , internals didn't look even close , I hope you have success but if it's the same supplier I'd be surprised if you have any luck
It seems there are two types of transmitters used in D2s, apparently later models use a different system. I don't remember details exactly, but the key i got from ebay supplier could be recognised by nanocom, but not programmed. When returned, supplier said it was not compatible with my key. So there seems to be two different systems used. Good luck figuring out which you have.
