Hi Steve223,
How did the APT sliders go?
I'm interested in getting a set myself, just wondered if you had any feedback, cheers / Andy
I've had a set on my D2 for three years now. Very happy with the fit, quality, strength and they have survived numerous gnarly bashings in the Glass House Mountains. They have certainly saved my D2 from damage.
I would happily recommend them and Ben from APT is a top guy to deal with.

Dave,
Can you put up a picture of the underside?

Do the bolts go all the way through the rails?
From the above picture it looks like some of them did not line up properly?
Sure thing Scott .. But I'll do it the morning ok.
It's not bolted right through though, It bolts to M? rivnuts/nutserts we fitted into the sill. Ben from APT fitted it with me and he only fitted x amount of the allocated holes - not sure why, but he said that was more than enough to support the weight. Because the slider is cupped around the sill/box section, I guess the bolts are there to locate and stop lateral movement. Either way it's stood the test of time and I can confidently say it hasn't moved etc.
I'll take some high res pics in the morning and post them up for you.
Dave
They are also a tight fit fit onto the sill, we had to use a jack and a rubber mallet to fit them.
Thanks for the pics Dave, they do look good, I ve been umming and ahing over the stubbie version - very similar to yours without the step plate. I think I'll organise a set tomorrow.
Bens is a top guy, I already have one of his steering guards, he is a pleasure to deal with.
Cheers / Andy
I sent them back, they where not fitting well, the holes where not correctly aligned and to be honest the design of how they are attached did not feel strong and well balanced. Bought the DPL sliders which give slightly less sill clearance but fit perfectly and have served me well so far.
Love mine. Ben did a slighlty custom design for my nakeds...
