A bit of everything really. Tow a caravan 2 or 3 times a year, touring and some off road stuff. I've done a couple of courses (4wd) but reasonably new to the off road side of things. Been out with a mate several times and really enjoyed it, so I guess you have to start somewhere.

Your 2a will do all those things. As you get used to what it will do you will find yourself doing even more with it.
I like the fuel economy (mine is a diesel), the comfort, even on very rough roads and the fact that it is very capable off road.
I have had several 4WD vehicles and this is my first with traction control. I had never given traction control much thought before owning a vehicle equipped with it and was quite sceptical about how good it might be but believe me it goes way beyond what I thought it might do. The only time I dont like it is in very loose sand (usually dry river sand) and the ability to turn it off would be good.

I've been checking the coolant every time I fill up, if not more. All good so far. The guy who owned it was ultra fussy about maintaining it inside and out as well as mechanically....... O and I've already had a visit from the amigos, they lit up for a visit today briefly but have gone since.
So comfy to ride in, way better than that Grand Cherokee I had a few years back..
I've got it booked in with a LR specialist for a full service and check over in the next few weeks so then should be good to go and enjoy!
My one in Uganda has the fat roof rails and to me it makes the car look much bigger.

Anyway you are sure to enjoy it they are great to drive, as Pedro says keep your cooling system top notch! I would also echo the advice re Nanocom or Hawkeye. Essential and will save you $$$$$$$$. I use Hawkeye only that it works on any D2 V8 of TD5.
