Got mine from evil-bay Land Rover Discovery Rear Bumper Corner Bumperette Trim Clips MK 2 DYC10031L | eBay
They appear a sacrificial item so a few on hand wont hurt
Cheers Scott
So had fun in the D2 yesterday but managed to eject both bumperettes at high speed whilst trying to get up some muddy slopes.
Amazingly neither were broken and the bumper is still in one piece (although the brackets need bending).
So my question is, does anybody know the part number, or equivalent for the 'turquoise' plastic rivets that hold the bumperettes in place please?

I use countersink head bolts and use nuts to space them correctly. These have never been damaged since.

Simon, don't you have a steel rear bar and a big lift (if I remember correctly from reading your website)?
I'm just wondering as the reason mine popped off was because the OEM plastic bumper was fouled on the ground and slightly deformed which meant the bumperettes popped off - I would have thought that with nuts/bolts the bumperettes would be more likely to break rather than the plastic rivets shearing (in my case)?
A steel rear bar is on the wishlist (and a bullbar too), but still awaiting sign off from SWMBO before those are purchased - I'm getting quite good at filler and fibreglass repair to the bumpers![]()
Yes and no. I do have a big lift but the steel bar isn't normally on it. I pop the bumperettes off for the same reasons as you do. I've never broken a bumperette, mine are still the originals. They just clip on to bolt heads the same way as they do with the factory clips. The only bit that has broken are the rings for the little screws, but they still do the trick.
Cheers
