They must be legal because I purchased my D2 new in 2002 and they were on whenever the parking or headlight switch was 'on' and these were complianced vehicles in Aust.

Mine work :), and yes I have always referred to them as "marker" (or clearance) lights like trucks have - the "park lights" are in the headlight housing.Quote:
