Why not try Erich Bundalene on this forum when he's back. He probably have the switches and looms to go out of a wrecker.
That's where the winch control is on the wife's D2...
I never thought of wiring up a wind in/out switch their for the winch instead of running the lead for the hand control! That's a great idea!
I think I will get the three switch housing then - switch one can be a D1 fog lamp switch for my roof rack lights, switch 2 a winch control switch (I assume a momentary on-off-on rocker switch is the go for this - e.g. http://www.narva.com.au/products/det...s-popup-layout ) and switch three will be the toggle for Graeme's ACE control switch.
Also found http://www.narva.com.au/products/det...s-popup-layout which would be nice to use for the roof lights switch!
They can't get the switch < AMR4138 | FRONT FOG LIGHT SWITCH DISCO MA> | Land Rover | Discovery 1 - 1989 to 1999 | Britcar (UK) Ltd >
They will notify me if it becomes available though. There's always eBay or the Narva switches I linked above.Quote:
This part is obsolete but we may be able to order it for you. Please let us know if you are interested in this part.
They can get the blanks though.
Try British 4wd in North Hobart for the D1 fog light switches. I got some last December.
