Question Discovery 1 ashtray switches into Discovery 2?

Anyone know the Discovery 1 part numbers required to achieve this?:

I have managed to find the following part numbers:

    AWR1198LNF - HOUSING-FACIA CONSOLE SWITCHES, FOR 2 SWITCHES
    AWR3330LNF - HOUSING-FACIA CONSOLE SWITCHES, FOR 3 SWITCHES

    AMR3752 - SWITCH-CRUISE CONTROL ENABLE/DISABLE, ALSO SERVICED AS PART OF A KIT

    AMR3740 - BLANK-INSTRUMENT BEZEL SWITCH

I have still been unable to find a part number for the fog light switch to suit the housing above.

    Found the switch:

    AMR4138 - SWITCH-PUSH PUSH FOG-FRONT, ALSO SERVICED AS PART OF A KIT

Now, I'm needing the wiring plug for the back of it - any ideas?

The wiring looms aren't available anymore.

I've just done this on mine. Use really small terminal connectors and heat shrink them (otherwise they short and blow fuses).

BTW Brit-car.co.uk can get the fascia and switch. Get the blanks off eBay.

Cut the surround off from around the pins and solder on wiring and attach a generic multi pin socket/plug. Used to do this for adapting the switches in D1's for driving light harnesses.

From memory there's 5 pins, one pair is backlighting positive and negative. One pair for your switching circuit for a relay ( I wouldn't trust it for a high power set of lights).

That page has the pin wiring. Definitely use a relay for lights - I used one as I tapped the full beam.

    Dash switches D2

    Mr TWR7cx
As you have some spare positions in the dash facia i have these with wiring that should help and much cheaper,ONE of these could be yours for $10 plus postage.they are out of a D2 and have the loom on them for you to tap into, using a momentary relay for on/off.
advise with PO address if wanted
    Cheers

Why? It only triggers to activate a relay.

Those look like standard D2 fog lamp switches. My vehicle is an HSE therefore is factory fitted with them. I also have already used the optional driving light switch, which is why I am now resorting to using the D1 switches for the additional roof rack lights.
