Out of fuel but not?

Yup, that's why I don't really like to do it but alas, such is life for a uni student :p
I used to fill up first sign of the light, and even waiting and filling it to the brim I only got 80L in, indicating 15 left.
RAVE says the light should come on at 7.5l left.

I've run mine right down to an indicated empty on a couple of occasions and even doing that the most I've ever managed to squeeze in was just under 85 litres.
