    D2 Tinkering Pal in Sydney's Norwest

    Hello Together,

    Just wondering whether there is someone in Sydney's Nord West (I'm in Castle Hill), ideally with more mechanical knowledge then me, how owns a D2 and also likes to tinker on the car from time to time. I have a good set of tools but need more knowledge :-).

    Hi yorkie,

    Purchased rock sliders, steering guards, diff guards, and LSD
    Also like to look in to a sway bar disconnect 4" more articulation
    Sounds good to me.

    rock sliders - easy fit, couple of holes like need drilling.
    steering & diff guards - bolt on, easy.
    LSD - gave that up years ago! can strip down the bits so you just take the centre to a diff shop for fitting.

    are you going to the expo? chance to run through some bits maybe.
