This is my fitting guide, Fitting a D2 50 CDL lever.
Basically, if you have a facelift Discovery then the transmission tunnel cover plate should NOT need any opening out. It is only on the pre-facelift cars that this is needed.
If my conversions are about right, my kits come in about $530.00 delivered. I no longer ask for old levers to be returned from outside the EU as our greedy Customs and Excise charging stupid amounts of import tax and VAT on them. ( and then the Post Office charge £16.00 " handling " fee on top ). Instead I just charge £25.00 to replace the lever from a UK breaker. The good news is, that as more D2,s are being scrapped due to chassis corrosion over here, the price of high/low levers is going down, and I,m hoping to be able to get them for £10.00 each which means I can pass the savings on to overseas customers.
