cps mounting differences between gems and bosch
Hello, everyone!
I have a painful situation here with my broken 4.0 v8 engine. Since the engine must be replaced - i decided to install 4.6 on my d2. Found one at reasonable price (reasonable for Russia), but there is one problem - it is lucas gems. I've read a lot of information about swap 4.0 to 4.6, bosch to gems and backwards, and found that the only problem is crank angle position sensor, specifically its mounting to engine block. But didn't found the step-by-step description for this procedure.
So, the question is - can i do it myself without welding and the pics of this differences would be helpful.
