    V8 MAF Sensor

After having trolled multiple searches etc...I figured I would just ask...

Where is the best place to get a Bosch MAF Sensor for my 2000 4 ltr V8?
And roughly how much should I expect to be paying..

After using a can of MAF Cleaner and getting a half reasonable improvement in performance I found it deteriorated again within a fortnight... so bit the bullet yesterday... called Karcraft and 5 minutes later there was a new MAF in a Post pack which I should get on Monday...

when changing be VERY careful of the small radiator hose, (if original) they are extremely brittle

What a difference a MAF( Sensor ) makes

Received my new MAF sensor today... fitted it up and my goodness... what a difference... she idles much smoother... pulls harder... changes gears much nicer.. hopefully she will drink a little less as well...

Well worth the $$ and cannot say enough about the service from Karcraft..

    V8 MAF sensor

    Andych
i've just done my first full tank assessment of my new MAF sensor and have come up with 5.6k/ltr or 16.0714286 ltrs/100klm.
as opposed to the old one which was around 22lts/100klm.
i put in 90 litres exactly for 504klm at $149.9 litre
    so i'm pretty happy now.
kilometres driven were 75% around town and 25% highway,no towing.
something for you to use as a comparison.
    cheers
    Paul
