I had a similar vibration in my D2. It turned out to be the rear rotoflex coupling and centre bush. More the bush than the rubber coupling. Lie under the car and try moving the back of the rear prop shaft sideways on the diff. Any movement at all will cause a vibration.
To removed the bush I use the same technique as you would for a spigot bush in the back of a crankshaft. Find a shaft that fits neatly inside it. Pack the centre of the bush full of grease then use the shaft as a hydraulic piston to push the bush out. Mine came out quite easily. If when you hit the shaft with a hammer, the shaft is "bouncing", you have an air pocket in front of the shaft. Pack more grease in to minimise the air pocket and push the grease all the way in with you finger. When you have all of the air out, hitting the shaft with a hammer will feel quite solid and the bush will be pushed out easily.
