Hi all,
I'm planning to replace all the intercooler hose clamps on the old girl. Could anyone help out with a list of clamp sizes?
Cheers
Tony

Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
I have the wide clips with a bolt to tension them which are supposed to be for turbo pressure applications which I bought on ebay.
They have to be done up really tight as I found going up Mcleods Shute one day when one blew off. This is not really a problem as all the pipes they clamp to are steel. It hasn't happened since in 30KK.
Browsing through Masters hardware I found that they sell the bolt type (Tridon) for a reasonable price. I must say I was surprised.
If fitting with a set of silicone pipes, IMHO you would need to roughen up the interior to prevent them slipping off.

I had trouble with turbo system hoses blowing off . I fixed it when fitting silicon hoses by putting a smear of silicon on the joining surfaces when assembling. A little bit of a hassle when any maintenance on the system(removing the hoses) is being done but, they haven't let go ever since.
Sorry but I can't help with the hose clamp sizes
Cheers,
Jason
