Hi,
I bought mine off ebay sight unseen, not recommended I know.
It was picked up by a LR independent and looked over before export.
It had 180,000 on it an ES and the only big thing found was oil on the wiring loom/ECU plug, so look out for that. It can cause rough running etc.
The interior was very good, and had all the bolt on bits including A bar/lights. Look if leather, for the condition of the drivers seat. Always shows wear,
On my TD5 I have those fat roof bars. They look good but don't know how they work.
Cheers, Jerry
Hi mate
I just bought my second Td5. Awesome cars and like most posts have mentioned if the service history is up to date and it's been well maintained there's no real big drama. I've had a manual and now I got auto both bought with full history and 200kms on clock no major issues just look over the basics and if unsure get a pro to inspect it for piece of mind
