Has any electronics guru thought of, or produced a multi-position switch for D2 T.C. that would adjust the amount of slip which is what I understand the D3 T.C. does? I.e. allow more slip in Sand mode and less in Rock mode, I know it also does a lot of other clever stuff like moving brake pads closer to disc to stop slip quickly in Rock mode to prevent drive line damage, etc.

Believe me mate with CDL a d2 is embarrassed by no other series of LR in sand. If you wanted ultimate traction you just go lockers or ATB just short of that but these trucks are weapons without.
