here's another reading of engine at idle if it helps?
Hi All,
i have been having problems with no guts under acceleration and then what seems to be overboosting when turbo kicks in.
i have read countless threads and as a result have changed:
new maf sensor
new injector loom
new wastegate modulator
cleaned oil from red ecu plug(non there now)
new fuel filter
cleaned mas, crank angle and aap sensors
i have checked all hoses on intercooler and turbo including wastegate hoses.
egr removed
nanocom arrived yesterday and i had a driver demand fault logged.
have reset this and it hasnt returned.
problem is still there but have no logged faults.
i have saved live data from the nanocom and was wondering if someone would please be able to help diagnose any faults or see if anything is out of the ordinary.
i was thinking it could be tp sensor (driver demand fault) or fuel pump.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

not sure what you mean...i replaced the fuel filter above the drivers rear wheel.

Have you freed up the turbo actuator rod? maybe its seized
To be honest it looks like its under-boosting to me but the sample isn't a particularly good one
Remove the sensor in the manifold and clean it with contact cleaner
It may be clogged up with black crap don't clean it with wire or anything that could damage it.
Over-boosting shouldn't show up until approx 240 or so
Disconnect your MAF and go for a drive see if its better the readings look a bit odd to me

i have checked the turbo actuator rod, it moves freely and i added some wd40 for good measure. i have disconnected all the relevant sensors systematically and have seen no change in driving.
i have a longer data sample from the nanocom ...i'm only new at it sorry
maybe it will reveal something?

The MAF readings look very low. You'll have to excuse the experiment graphing, but these show how the ECU processes the MAF and MAP/IAT to determine the amount of air filling each cylinder on each cycle. The two traces should be close to each other.

This is what it should look like on a standard setup (no boost boxes, etc):
I don't see any signs of overboost. The tell-tale indicator is a high manifold pressure reading followed immediately by one of more readings of exactly 100.00 kpa as the ECU limits.
Have you checked the supply voltage and resistance/continuity in the wiring from ECU to the MAF?

I am no expert but your MAF readings don't look right to me.
Can you take the car for a drive and get up to 100 km h and put some load on the engine.
I understand you should see figures well in excess of 500 when accelerating
Was it a genuine MAF or a cheapie? if it was a genuine MAF maybe the wiring has rubbed through on the loom in the engine bay
