    I fitted mine to the tube coming out of the torque convertor with a hoseclamp. That shows you the highest temperature, it goes up and down very quick. It has been there about 50000 km, most of that towing about 2.5 tons (td5 D2).

    I removed one of the allen key bolts that sit between the trans oil pipes and fitted the vdo sensor there. Similar to where Scotty (twr7cx) fitted his. There are photos on one of the EMS install threads.

    Im running the Madman EMS 1.

    I put mine under the bolt on the xyz switch temps move reasonably slowly. So not as good as in the fluid. TM4 has a bold on fitting anyway is the a better bolt to put it under?

    do we know if it sits in fluid Toppa/twr7cx?
    or to ask another way,,
    did it **** out fluid everywhere when you undid it?

    Pedro, i honestly cant remember. I've got a feeling i did it at the same time i serviced the auto.

    Temps seem pretty accurate. The dash warning light came on when the EMS read 150 degrees which i think is when rave indicates it should.
