Coolant temp via a sensor under one of the nuts holding the coolant outlet pipe on the head. It's not in the fluid but a good proxy.

Oil pressure by fitting a oil pressure sensor in line with the existing oil pressure switch.

Google 'Madman EMS' for all you need to know.

Just a word on the position of the temp sensor in TD5.

I had a visitor a while ago for a Nanocom fault clear who had placed his sensor at the rear of the engine. It read about 9 C less than the ECU sensor as read by Nanocom.

My cheapo Chinese sensor placed on a outlet pipe bolt reads within 0.5 C of the ECU reading as per Nanocom.

So I agree strongly the best place is on the pipe outlet.

I don't know if he had some calibration problem, but usually there is no calibration involved in a temp gauge.

The Madman has a neat feature where you can use any sensor and enter your own calibration scale. I sourced some inexpensive NTC thermistors for coolant and transmission temp which meant I didn't have to cut into anything as they measure surface temp. Simple process to calibrate using a thermometer and a pan of water.
