Ok... Give me the weekend to check through my files and see what I have that suits...

(I'll need that long because the laptop is buried somewhere in the workshop!)

I'll come out of retirement for this if you're willing to supply me some info...

I need the ECU number eg: NNN000130 which is located on a sticker at the end of the ECU (opposite to the plugs).

I'll then look at my store of maps and see what I have available to suit.

We can then see about how to make it happen.
    So,
This is how you get the guru out of retirement! Even if temporarily. Well done. I'm still loving my Tombie remap 4 years later.

...so if I wanted to get a ECU remap done for my '04 Disco auto how should I go about it? Or is it better to take business abroad?
I live in Emerald Qld no access to nanocom.

**hope I didn't hijack your tread too much but as you now power is a hot topic**

Apologies if, I too hijack this thread. But this is way too interesting, and I too would like to do something to my ECU (Disco ii 2000 Td5 Auto).

Ages ago, a mechanic (warranty work), reset the ECU to try and remove the three amigos fault - Didn't. Fuel was at 9.2lt/100km. Now, 13lt/100km and I haven't been able to get it back to before the reset.

    Cheers.

I am in the same boat, from Rockhampton. I am picking my car up from the local LR mechanic here and going to ask him what level of involvement he has with retunes. They drive some pretty mad looking defenders so I am hoping they know something about it.

I was under the impression Tombie was reselling Bell Auto Services remaps?

I'm happy to be corrected by Tombie on this point if I'm wrong.

I don't do impressions... Terrible at them!

You are correct Paul... My maps were originally written by BAS.

Take your time as I am in no hurry. Literally :0) Besides it nearly Christmas and everyone should be enjoying themselves not working. Happy for you to look into it in the New Year. Have a great break.

And are you selling them again?

I have a Nanocom so I should be able to install it myself.

    Happy Days.
